  • Betsy Rader will present her experience on communication skills at an all-day CLE seminar featuring many of Northeast Ohio's successful female legal experts.  The panel, "Building Your Communication Style: Finding Your Voice" is part of a full-day seminar titled "Women Leading Their Way to New Perspectives, Opportunities & Heights."  This Leadership Series event sponsored by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association will take place Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the CMBA Conference Center in the One Cleveland Center, Cleveland, Ohio.

  • On Feb. 1 Ohio Sen. Bill Seitz (R-Cincinnati) introduced Senate Bill 268, which would make drastic cuts to the protections Ohio citizens have against discrimination in the workplace.  Betsy Rader explained to the Akron Legal News that “It’s already tough to enforce the current discrimination laws in Ohio.  In theory employees who are discriminated against have a right, but in reality they do not have an effective remedy."
